A relaxation massage focuses on relaxation and stress relief in every-day life. In a treatment, a qualified massage therapist, at HMT, conducts the treatment. A client can expect massage techniques involving long smooth gliding strokes that are both rhythmic and flowing.

Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is a therapeutic and relaxing treatment using acupressure massage on the face, head, shoulders and neck with the intention of re-aligning your body and its energy centre.
The massage technique originated in India, a very spiritual place, where it has been sought out by travellers and people seeking re-balancing and nourishment for thousands of years.
It is also inter-twined with the practice of Ayurveda, and you will experience a deep massage, using varied pressure and techniques, including long strokes and circular strokes on your scalp, plus some deep tissue work on your shoulders, and then extending to the neck.

Deep Tissue Massage
Experience a deep tissue massage where a therapist adjusts the pressure in order to manipulate the deeper tissue layers in your body, specifically the tissue layers on top of the muscle, but excluding the muscle itself. The therapist does not go so deep into the massage but allows for a steady pressure to help release any knots and to assist in alleviating stiff muscles.
In a sport massage a therapist manipulates the soft tissue (muscle) with the purpose of preventing or improving a sports injury. More commonly, a sports massage aims to relieve big tension knots that often build up in the body over time due to injury.
